Kuusamo Lappi Loiste 7cm 19g Ice Fishing Lure for Burbot Baltic Vertical Jigging

Kuusamo Lappi Loiste 7cm 19g is a Finnish-made ice fishing lure that has earned a strong reputation among northern European anglers. It is designed specifically for targeting burbot (burbot, also known as eelpout) through the ice, and its proven fish-catching ability has made it a trusted choice for cold-water vertical jigging.

The lure measures 7 cm in length and weighs 19 g, giving it a compact yet substantial profile. This weight allows it to sink quickly and maintain contact with the bottom, which is essential when fishing for burbot in deep or flowing water. The balanced body shape helps it flutter and flash on the drop, triggering the aggressive predatory instincts of burbot and other bottom-dwelling species.

Kuusamo is a well-known Finnish tackle manufacturer with decades of experience in producing lures for northern conditions. The Lappi Loiste is built to withstand the demands of ice fishing, including low temperatures and repeated contact with hard bottoms. Its durable construction and reliable action make it a practical choice for anglers who fish through the ice in search of burbot.

This lure is available in a range of colour variants, allowing anglers to match the hatch or adapt to different light and water conditions. The colour options include natural baitfish patterns as well as brighter, more visible combinations for murky water or low-light situations. Each variant is identified by a specific reference number, ensuring you can select the exact pattern you need.

For best results, fish the Kuusamo Lappi Loiste vertically through the ice, using short lifts and pauses to let the lure flutter and flash. It is particularly effective when fished close to the bottom, where burbot are most active. The 19 g weight is suitable for a range of depths and can be used with standard ice fishing rods and reels.

Whether you are an experienced burbot angler or new to ice fishing, the Kuusamo Lappi Loiste 7cm 19g offers a reliable and effective option for targeting burbot through the ice. Its Finnish heritage, proven design and range of colour options make it a valuable addition to any cold-water tackle box.
