Lucky Craft Unfair Super Slim 50 SP 50mm 2g Suspending Trout Lure Japan

Lucky Craft Unfair Super Slim 50 SP is a highly effective suspending minnow lure developed specifically for area trout fishing. The Unfair series was the first to create a major stir with its unique and explosive fishing characteristics, designed for extremely slow retrieves. Its key features are a "slow and wide action" that creates the illusion of a lure holding position in the water, and an "irregular action" that automatically increases the chances of a bite.

The Unfair Super Slim 50 SP measures 50 mm and weighs just 2 g, making it a genuinely finesse-oriented offering. Its slim, minnow-style profile allows it to be presented on light tackle and fished with the kind of delicate, measured retrieve that pressured trout respond to. The suspending (SP) construction means the lure holds its depth when the retrieve is paused, rather than floating up or sinking away, so it stays in the strike zone for longer.

One of the most distinctive aspects of this lure is the way water flows over the grooves on the body surface. These channels are covered by the current, producing a "soft wave" effect that goes beyond the action of hard-bodied lures. In practice, this means the lure continues to generate subtle vibration and movement even when it is not being retrieved, which can be a decisive advantage when trout are following but not committing.

The Unfair Super Slim 50 SP is designed to be fished at a diving depth of approximately 0.3 to 0.5 m, making it well suited to shallow runs, margins and the upper layers of the water column. It is a natural choice for area trout venues, small stillwaters and streams where a slow, controlled presentation is required.

This is an original Japanese-made Lucky Craft lure, a brand that has earned a strong following among competition anglers targeting trout. The Unfair series in particular has been enthusiastically supported by tournament fishermen who need a lure that performs reliably under pressure and produces results on difficult days.

Available colours include Amabie, Cafeore Sherbet, Goma Sherbet II and Clear, giving anglers a useful spread of natural and translucent finishes to match different light conditions and water clarity.
