Bait Alarms / Bait Indicators

Fishing Bite Alarm Bell with Clip Ring is a simple, reliable bite indication accessory designed to attach securely to the tip of your fishing rod. It provides an audible alert when a fish takes the bait, helping you stay aware of bites even when your attention is elsewhere.

The bell is fitted with a clip ring that grips the rod tip firmly. This means it stays in place during casting and does not fall off, while also remaining stable when you are playing a fish. The secure attachment allows you to focus on the fight without worrying about the indicator coming loose.

When a fish bites, the movement of the rod tip causes the bell to sound, giving you a clear audible signal. This is particularly useful in low-light conditions, when fishing at distance, or when using multiple rods and you cannot watch every tip at once.

The design also includes a dedicated holder for a small light (light not included). This allows you to add a visual bite indication for night fishing, making the bell even more versatile. The light holder is an integral part of the bell, so you can keep both audible and visual indication in one compact unit.

This bite alarm bell is suitable for a wide range of angling situations, including ledgering, feeder fishing, and general coarse fishing where a simple, effective bite indicator is required. It is a practical accessory for both beginners and experienced anglers who want a straightforward, no-nonsense way to detect bites.

Technical Specifications:

Product Type – Fishing Bite Alarm Bell
Attachment – Clip Ring for Rod Tip
Alert Type – Audible Bell
Light Holder – Yes (light not included)
Stability – Stays in place during casting and fish playing
Suitable For – Ledgering, feeder fishing, general coarse fishing

ZR SK1 Screw-On Bite Alarm Bell is a simple, dependable bite indication accessory designed to be screwed directly onto the tip of your fishing rod. When a fish takes the bait and moves the rod tip, the bell sounds an audible alert, allowing you to keep your attention on the water, your surroundings or your other rods without missing a take.

The screw-on fitting is the key feature of this design. Rather than relying on a clip or a separate attachment, the bell threads onto the rod tip, which helps to keep it securely in position during casting, retrieving and general handling. This makes it a practical choice for anglers who want a straightforward bite indicator that stays where it is put.

The ZR SK1 also includes a dedicated mounting point for a small light. This allows you to add a light source to the setup, which can be useful for night sessions or low-light conditions when watching the rod tip becomes more difficult. The light mount is built into the bell, so no additional bracket is required.

Because the alarm works purely on the movement of the rod tip, it is suitable for a wide range of bottom fishing and ledgering situations where a rod tip indication is used. It is particularly useful when fishing with more than one rod, as the audible signal helps you react quickly when a fish picks up the bait.

The compact bell design adds very little weight to the rod tip and does not interfere with the normal action of the rod. It can be fitted and removed quickly, making it easy to switch between swims or change your bite indication setup as conditions require.

Whether you are fishing a quiet lake, a river or a commercial venue, the ZR SK1 Screw-On Bite Alarm Bell offers a simple and effective way to add an audible bite indication to your rod tip setup.

Bite Indicator Plastic Monkey Climber is a classic, simple and highly effective bite indication accessory for carp and specimen anglers. Designed as a lightweight plastic monkey climber, it attaches directly to the line and moves as soon as a fish takes the bait, giving you a clear visual signal of interest at the rig.

The indicator is hollow inside, allowing you to add a small glow stick or a weight. This lets you fine-tune the balance of the indicator to suit the conditions, the distance you are fishing and the amount of line tension you prefer. Adding a weight increases stability in windy weather, while a glow stick makes the indicator easy to see during night sessions.

Because the monkey climber clips onto the line and tightens against it, it stays in position until a fish moves off with the bait. At the moment of a take, the indicator rises or drops along the line, providing an immediate and unmistakable visual bite indication. This makes it a practical choice for both short sessions and longer overnight carp fishing.

The plastic construction keeps the indicator light, so it has minimal effect on the line and does not add unnecessary resistance. This is particularly useful when fishing with slack or semi-slack lines, where a heavy indicator could mask subtle bites. The simple design also means there are no complicated parts to assemble or maintain.

This bite indicator is suitable for a wide range of carp and specimen fishing situations, including fishing with bite alarms, bobbin setups and swinger-style presentations. It can be used on stillwaters, lakes and rivers where a visual indication of a take is required. Whether you are targeting carp, tench or other specimen fish, the monkey climber offers a reliable and straightforward way to spot bites.

Compact and easy to store in a tackle box, this plastic monkey climber is a useful addition to any carp angler's kit. Its straightforward function and adjustable nature make it a dependable choice for anglers who prefer a traditional, visual bite indication system.

An accessory for the alarm device, mounted between the pole or stand and the alarm device. It is used to prevent fish from dropping the rod during a bite.

Pro FL Bite Alarm Set 3+1 is a complete bite indication system designed for carp and specimen anglers who want reliable, highly visible bite alerts both day and night. The set comprises three individual bite alarms plus a wireless receiver, giving you a full three-rod setup straight out of the box.

Each alarm is equipped with multiple LEDs that illuminate clearly in low light, so you can see exactly which rod has signalled a bite even in complete darkness. The alarms are rubber-coated and moisture-resistant, helping them stand up to damp bankside conditions and the occasional splash.

The wireless receiver has a working range of up to 100 m and features a vibration mode in addition to audible alerts. When a bite occurs, the receiver sounds and lights up in the same colour as the alarm that has been triggered, so you can instantly identify the active rod without needing to look directly at the alarms.

Each alarm offers adjustable volume, sensitivity and tone, allowing you to tune the response to the swim, the species and the conditions. After a bite, the alarm continues to glow for 30 seconds, giving you a clear visual reminder of which rod has signalled. Both the alarms and the receiver are fitted with night lights for improved visibility after dark.

Every alarm in the set illuminates in a different colour, and this colour is mirrored on the receiver when that alarm is triggered. This colour-coded system makes it easy to distinguish between rods at a glance, particularly when fishing multiple rods at range.

Each alarm also has a socket for connecting a bite indicator or swing. When a bite is registered, the connected indicator will also light up, adding a further layer of visual indication. This makes the set suitable for a wide range of carp, specimen and general coarse fishing situations where clear, immediate bite indication is essential.

The set is supplied with batteries and a small, compact light that is ideal for use inside a bivvy or shelter. Whether you are fishing overnight sessions, long weekends or short day trips, the Pro FL Bite Alarm Set 3+1 provides a practical and highly visible bite indication solution.

Hokkaido 10G 2+1 Bite Alarm Set is a complete bite indication system comprising two bite alarms and one receiver, designed for anglers who want reliable, long-range bite signalling without being tied to the rods. When a fish takes the bait, the alarm sounds and illuminates in the colour assigned to that particular alarm, while the receiver simultaneously alerts you to the bite.

The receiver offers an operating range of up to 300 m, giving you the freedom to move away from your swim, prepare rigs, mix groundbait or simply relax while remaining fully aware of any activity on your rods. This makes the set particularly useful on larger stillwaters, gravel pits and reservoirs where the rods cannot be watched continuously.

Each alarm is built around a tough, durable plastic housing that is designed to withstand the knocks and weather typical of a long session on the bank. The robust construction helps protect the internal electronics, so the alarms can be left set up on the buzz bars throughout the session.

The alarms are fitted with a socket for connecting bite indicators or swingers. When a hanger or swinger is plugged in, it will also light up at the moment of a take, giving you an additional visual signal in low light or at night. This is a practical feature for anglers who like to combine audible and visual bite indication.

Adjustment is generous and straightforward. Each alarm provides 5 volume settings, 4 different tones and 4 sensitivity levels, allowing you to tune the response to the conditions, the species and the rig being used. A low battery indicator light warns you when the batteries are running down, so you can replace them before a session rather than being caught out mid-fishing.

The receiver is equally well equipped, offering a vibration mode alongside 5 volume levels and 4 tone settings. The vibration alert is especially useful in quiet swims, at night or when you do not want to disturb other anglers nearby, while still keeping you informed of every take.

Both the alarms and the receiver are powered by AAA batteries, which are widely available and easy to carry as spares. The set includes a practical carry case that keeps the alarms, receiver and accessories safely stored and protected during transport and between sessions.

When a bite occurs, the receiver sounds and lights up in the colour of the alarm that has been triggered, so you can identify the active rod at a glance. The receiver range is stated as 300 m in the main description and 100 metres in the feature list; please verify the exact figure for your intended use.

This is the Blue Edition, in which all alarm signals use a blue LED. The alarms run on 2 x AAA 1.5 V batteries (not included), while the receiver is stated as running on either a 9 V battery or 2 x AAA 1.5 V batteries depending on the section of the source information; please confirm the correct power source before purchase. The practical case included in the set keeps the alarms safely stored during transport.

With their water-resistant construction, well-visible LEDs and comprehensive adjustment options, the Prologic SMX alarms are aimed at carp anglers who want dependable bite indication and clear, customisable alerts during long sessions.
