VDE G5 Groundbait 2kg Scotthorne Light Mix Bream Roach Crucian Carp

VDE G5 Groundbait 2kg – Scotthorne is a light-coloured, highly versatile groundbait from the Marcel Van Den Eynde range, developed in association with the well-known match angler Steve Scotthorne. It is designed as an all-round mix that can be used confidently across a wide variety of stillwaters and rivers, making it a practical choice for anglers who want one reliable groundbait to cover many different sessions.

The light colour of the G5 mix makes it particularly useful in clear water and on bright days, where a darker groundbait can sometimes spook wary fish. The pale cloud it creates in the water helps to attract fish into the swim without overfeeding them, which is especially important when targeting silver fish such as bream and roach.

G5 is a genuinely universal groundbait. It can be used on its own, straight from the bag, and in most situations this is all that is required. There is no need to blend it with other mixes to get a working bait, which makes it simple and quick to prepare on the bank. Simply add water, mix thoroughly and leave to stand until it reaches the desired consistency.

The mix is suitable for targeting a range of coarse fish including bream, roach, crucian carp and carp. Its balanced composition allows it to be used both as a loose feed to draw fish into the area and as a balled-in groundbait to build a bed of bait on the bottom. This flexibility makes it suitable for pole fishing, feeder fishing and waggler fishing alike.

Supplied in a 2 kg bag, the G5 offers excellent value for regular anglers. The resealable-style packaging helps to keep the groundbait fresh between sessions, and the generous quantity is enough for several trips depending on how heavily you feed.

Whether you are fishing a commercial carp water, a natural lake or a slow-moving river, the VDE G5 is a dependable, light-coloured groundbait that performs well across the seasons and is trusted by match and pleasure anglers alike.
