Akara Machete Cast MH is a medium-fast action, medium-heavy casting rod designed for catching large pike or other predatory fish with multiplier reels. Despite its robustness and fearlessness, it weighs a relatively low 142g. This is due to the fact that the rod is made of TX-30 carbon fibre and certain technological innovations have been introduced that allow the weight of the rod to be reduced significantly. U-Sens technology is used in the production of this rod - the blank is sintered using a high molecular weight powdered resin with a minimum amount of binding material, which results in a higher sensitivity of the blank and a further reduction in weight. The rings are made of silicon carbide. The manufacturers have tested this rod in a heavily grassed pond and it has risen to the challenge.
