Round Lead Sinker with Rubber Grommet 50-120g Running Ledger Weight

Round Lead Sinker with Rubber Grommet 50-120g is a practical running ledger weight designed for bottom fishing and a wide range of coarse and sea angling situations. The round profile and the rubber grommet fitted inside the lead allow the line to pass freely through the weight, so the sinker can slide along the main line rather than being locked in a fixed position.

The internal rubber grommet is the key feature of this design. It protects the line from the sharp edges of the lead and reduces wear as the weight moves along the line. This makes the sinker particularly useful when you want a more natural presentation and a running rig that allows fish to take the bait without immediately feeling the resistance of a fixed weight.

Because the sinker runs freely on the line, it is well suited to running ledger rigs, where the lead is allowed to move while the hooklink and bait remain in a natural position. This type of setup is commonly used when fishing over gravel, sand, mud or mixed bottoms, and it can be adapted to stillwaters, rivers, canals and light sea fishing depending on the rest of the tackle.

The round shape helps the weight sink efficiently and roll over uneven ground without snagging as easily as some other profiles. The smooth finish and simple construction make it a reliable choice for anglers who want a straightforward, effective weight for bottom presentations.

This listing covers a range of weights from 50 g to 120 g, allowing you to choose the size that matches the swim, the distance you need to cast and the strength of the current. Lighter weights are useful for closer-range fishing and calmer conditions, while heavier weights help hold bottom in flowing water or when fishing at longer range.

Whether you are building a running ledger rig for carp, bream, tench or other bottom-feeding species, this round lead sinker with rubber grommet offers a simple and dependable solution. The free-running design, line-friendly grommet and choice of weights make it a versatile addition to any tackle box.
