Weighted Offset Hook 4/0 with Screw 5pcs – Weedless Swimbait Rig for Soft Lures

Weighted Offset Hook 4/0 with Screw is a specialist terminal tackle component designed for fishing with soft plastic lures. The hook is intended to be rigged so that the point sits concealed within the body of the soft lure, creating a weedless presentation that slides through dense vegetation, snags and other obstacles with far less risk of catching up. This makes it a practical choice for fishing around weed beds, lilies, sunken branches and similar cover where a standard exposed hook would constantly foul.

The defining feature of this hook is the integrated screw at the front. This screw thread allows the soft lure to be attached quickly, easily and securely, holding the plastic firmly in place so it does not slide down the shank after a cast or on contact with fish. The result is a neat, reliable presentation that keeps the lure sitting correctly on the hook, cast after cast.

Because the hook is weighted, it also helps to carry the lure out to the required distance and allows the angler to work it at the desired depth. The weight is available in three options – 5 g, 7 g and 9 g – so you can match the hook to the size of lure, the depth of water and the conditions on the day. Lighter weights suit shallow or slow presentations, while heavier weights are useful for deeper water, windier conditions or when a faster sink rate is needed.

The hook is supplied in size 4/0 with an overall length of 5.5 cm, a size well suited to medium and larger soft lures. Each pack contains 5 pieces, giving you a useful supply for rigging several lures or for keeping spares in the tackle box.

This weighted offset hook with screw is a versatile component for a range of soft lure presentations, including Texas-style and other weedless rigs. It is suitable for anglers targeting predatory fish with soft plastics in both still and moving water, and its weedless nature makes it particularly useful when fishing tight to cover.
