Okuma Ceymar HD - New for 2023! The all-new curved Ceymar HD reel is based on the concept of power. The reel features HDG-II (High Density Oversized Gearing) high density, enlarged serrations, a screw-in aluminium handle and a serration stabilisation system for maximum strength and spinning power. In addition, the frictionless main shaft effectively reduces torsional resistance, giving not only strength but also a feeling of unrivalled lightness and smoothness. On most reels, when the main shaft is moved up and down, a large area of friction is created in the pinion, which causes resistance when turning the handle. To reduce the resistance and achieve free rotation, we have cut out the centre of the pinion to reduce the friction with the shaft. This change in the pinion ensures maximum stabilisation and a friction-free turning experience.
