Frog rubber bait

Rubber frogs are a favourite bait for anglers fishing in densely vegetated water bodies. The frog is floating on the surface of the water, with a two-pronged hook at the top of the frog, so that the lure does not get stuck behind snags when pulling through the grass. "The frog's 'bouncing' on the surface of the water attracts predators and provokes them to attack.
