MPX - where different thicknesses of filaments are used to maximise strength and abrasion resistance; HDX - a technology where the filaments are treated to increase the adhesion between them and thus the slipperiness and sensitivity of the filament; SG - a Gosen-owned technology that increases sensitivity.
