Custom Baltic Bolognese Float Rod 4/5/6/7m 10-30g Telescopic 24T Carbon Coarse

Custom Baltic Bolognese Float Rod is a telescopic float fishing rod designed for anglers who need a long, manageable rod for float fishing on rivers, canals and stillwaters. Available in 4 m, 5 m, 6 m and 7 m lengths, it offers the reach and control required for presenting a float accurately at distance while remaining practical to transport and set up.

The rod is built on a 24T carbon fibre blank. Carbon fibre is widely chosen for float rods because it keeps the blank light in the hand while providing a responsive, crisp feel. This makes the rod comfortable to hold during longer sessions and helps the angler control the float line and strike efficiently.

With a 10-30 g casting weight, the rod covers a useful range of float setups, from lighter river floats to heavier stillwater patterns. This makes it a versatile choice for a variety of coarse fishing situations where conditions and float sizes change through the session.

The rod features a medium action, which offers a balanced compromise between control and fish-playing ability. It bends progressively under load, helping to absorb the lunges of lively fish while still giving the angler enough backbone to steer fish away from snags and bankside cover.

Four telescopic sections make the rod quick to extend and pack down to a compact size for transport. This is particularly useful for anglers who move between swims or travel with limited space. The rod is fitted with six wide rod guides, which help the line flow freely during casting and retrieval, reducing friction and supporting smooth float presentation.

A reliable, lightweight reel seat holds the reel securely without adding unnecessary weight to the handle area. This contributes to the overall balance of the rod and helps keep the setup comfortable during long periods of holding and trotting.

The Custom Baltic Bolognese Float Rod is suitable for float fishing on rivers, canals, lakes and ponds. It is aimed at anglers who want a long telescopic float rod with a light carbon construction, practical guide layout and a versatile casting weight range.
